“We are so thankful for the financial guidance we received from Ryan! He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of personal finance, from stocks to savings accounts to loan payoff strategies. Although we have only been working with Ryan for a short period of time, we have already seen stronger returns on our investments in the market and have saved more per month than we ever have before! By adjusting our stock and bond allocations we have revitalized our portfolio, and feel more prepared than ever to weather a financial storm.

Not only is Ryan extraordinarily talented on all things personal finance, but he takes time to understand not only your finances, but your family and your dreams as well. In my opinion, this is an incredibly important component of any financial evaluation, because everyone needs to plan for something different, whether it be a family, house, or retirement. I would recommend Ryan to anyone, no matter what their current financial status is, he will undoubtedly have creative ways to help you reach your goals and live the life you want to. We can’t thank him enough for all of the help and advice he’s given to us!”

“I don’t like budgets. I think that is because in the early years of our marriage we did one weekly. To me, a budget meant I could not have any fun. Plus, I do not like being told what to do. So when Ryan asked us to give it a try my emphatic answer was NO! I knew where my money was going and I did not need to track it. Boy was I wrong! I had no idea how much I was spending or should I say wasting. Ryan has so many great ideas that we have started implementing to be more efficient with our finances. For the first time in my life I am enjoying budgeting. My only regret is we did not start doing one earlier.”

“My wife and I are in our late fifties and nearing retirement time at the age of 65. We have saved over the years but honestly did not know if we were saving enough. Life is full of choices and we made a choice for my wife to be a stay at home mom/homemaker to raise our children and be there to fully invest in their lives. By making that choice I knew that I would be sacrificing financially later in life which would require I work longer. That was the choice we made and looking back it was the right choice for our family. We also wanted to be able to share what God has given us with others to help people and further His kingdom.

We really resisted the thought of budgeting or really finding where we spent our money each month. We have our home paid off (no debt) so we have the opportunity to reallocate our funds as needed. We met with Ryan and got the papers to track our spending and then had a meeting to discuss our opportunities. It was enlightening to see areas we could become more efficient with our spending.

Not only did Ryan help us with budgeting but he also educated us on investing. Through his recommendations I began reading and researching asset allocation, fees, costs, etc and prefer a low cost diversified portfolio of index funds. We have decided chasing top performing fund or even look at fund ratings is not warranted with this approach. It is just simple and that is nice.

Ryan was also able to show us how much money we should need to live in retirement. We are taking his advice and getting our expenses in line so when I do retire we will know where we spend our income. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that we were in a better position than I thought we were!

We have always lived modestly and don’t spend a lot on expensive things, but we were not looking to see how much all the little things we purchased added up. My wife does all the shopping for our family on a daily basis and this has really opened her eyes to how much a item costs and for us that is the big win in budgeting. Now she looks before she buys and we are finding better ways to purchase our basic daily needs. We are hopeful that in the future we will have a very clear understanding of how to use our resources and be able to finish our lives strong.”
